As a Accounting Assistant, you will be an integral part of our finance team, providing support in various accounting functions while ensuring compliance with our policies and procedures. - Assist in processing invoices and payments accurately and on time
- Support accounts payable and receivable functions
- Help in preparing monthly financial reports and reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with audits
- Review and validate expense reports for compliance with company policies
- Perform data entry tasks and update accounting databases
- Participate in improving accounting processes and systems
- Handle other administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements
What we are looking for:
- Either a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field or Level 1 ACCA
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work on-site at our location
- This is a contract position, so availability for a predetermined duration is required.
