Assistant Manager Procurement - Corporate Office (Goregaon)

Job Description

About the Role:

● The Manager—Procurement is responsible for strategically managing vendor relationships and ensuring timely procurement of products as per requirements shared by other departments, i.e. HR, SHE , Opex , Marketing, and IT.

● The person will report to the Senior Manager - Procurement. The incumbent will have to work as part of a multi-functional team, and this involves collaboration with the internal team and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Coordinating with stakeholders in corporate offices as well as at branches.
  • Handle indirect procurement related to SHE such as PPE's, safety shoes, Fire extinguisher AMC etc.
  • Handle indirect procurement related to HR, such as welcome kits, insurance, annual medical checkup contracts, uniforms, long service awards, and other gifts.
  • Handle indirect procurement related to the marketing function, such as brochures, marketing collateral, marketing scheme giveaways, incentive scheme-related items, annual sales, and other events.
  • Handle indirect procurement related to the Opex team, such as employee performance
  • gifting, branchwise new requirements for equipment , training, etc.
  • Handle indirect procurement related to IT such as procurement of chromebooks, renewal
  • of software AMC, smartphones, etc.
  • Analyse the demand requirement through a report extracted from Microsoft Navision (
  • ERP).
  • Developing and motivating the team/reportees to deliver required results.

Educational Qualification/Other Requirement:

● Engineering graduate with 3-5 years of experience in procurement.

● MBA degree preferred.

● Good verbal and written communication skills.

● Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain operations and basic working on ERP/Navision.

● Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel or Google Sheets is preferred.

● Basic knowledge of legal metrology for the product will be advantageous.
